We often help individuals, public schools and clinic by offering free services using our Artisans as part of practical’s services such as plumbing, electrical and welding work at no cost.

Forek Institute of Technology is playing a great role in Community development since 2008. On commencement, the college enrolled forty orphans for a National Certificate (End User Computing) from places around the Mpumalanga Province. Furthermore, in 2009 the college increased the orphan enrolment with ten students on the same course. In April 2011, there was a major Graduation Ceremony at Nelspruit City lodge where all the fifty orphans successfully graduated in National Certificate (End User Computing).
Furthermore, the institution expanded its mandate for community development in June 2012, by establishing a Sports Academy in Barberton to transform young people in sports and education.Forek Institute Sports Academy is creating awareness on the importance of education in sports by giving bursaries to excelling football and netball players in South Africa. The main aim of the College social investment is to support the government mandate to reduce illiteracy within the province and the country, through free education to the financially disadvantaged post Matric students who are talented in Sport. Moreover, Forek Institute of Technology Sports Academy is preparing the feature athletes education after sports.
Forek Institute Gives Back To The Community
This year we identify a indigent family ,where we donated with sanitary facilities, we then offered with plumbing services where we supplied all the building material and labour . we built a flashing toilet and a septic tank for the family at Phola Park in Kabokweni.
On Mandela Day in 2018 the college visited the local clinic (Bhuga Clinic ) where we also rendered plumbing and electrical services (21 toilets broken seats were replaced drainage, flushing and toilet seats ,we repaired the drainage system. We also assisted in the electrical maintenance where we fixed and repaired plugs and aircons for free.
Forek Institute of Technology has a Chairman bursary where 51 learners from who are needy from disadvantage background are assisted.

|b. Community||Nkomazi Local Municipality||Our Learners who were doing National Certificate: Community house building Level 2, managed to build a house for one less privileged family in Lang loop Nkomazi|
|c. Community||Kabokweni Community||Plumbing Learners managed to build a bathroom and put geysers for one elderly woman in Phola Park, Kabokweni.|
|d. Public Schools Maintenance||Department of Education||The welding students managed to build burglar bars and door screens for schools around the White Hazy and Ntsikazi Circuit|
|e. Public Hospital||Department of Health and Social Services in Mpumalanga||We are maintaining the Plumbing of Themba Hospital|
